We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Project Assistant to support targeted organizational initiatives on a project-by-project basis. This is a contingent, seasonal role where assignments, scope, and hours are tied to active projects and may shift over time. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working independently, and able to pivot between different types of work as project needs evolve.

Employment Terms

Key Responsibilities
General
- Support assigned projects from start to finish under the direction of project leads
- Organize, track, and maintain project documentation and records
- Communicate progress, blockers, and milestones to stakeholders
- Adapt to shifting priorities as new projects arise or existing ones conclude
CRM Development Support - Missionary Data
- Extract, compile, and organize missionary-related data from various sources
- Assist in structuring and inputting data into a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Help identify data gaps and propose solutions for cleaner record-keeping
Inventory Assessment
- Conduct a comprehensive inventory review of all organizational items
- Catalog, categorize, and document assets as needed for tax reporting
- Coordinate with relevant staff to locate, verify, and record inventory
- Prepare summary documentation suitable for tax preparation and audit readiness
- Note: No prior tax/accounting background is required; guidance and categorization criteria will be provided by [finance lead/department].
Future Projects
- Additional project assignments may be introduced as organizational needs change (e.g., event logistics support, volunteer database cleanup, communications assistance).
- Flexibility and willingness to take on new types of tasks is essential.
Qualifications
Required
- Strong organizational and data-entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and willingness to learn new software systems
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
- Prior experience with CRM platforms or database management
- Familiarity with inventory tracking or asset management
- Experience working in non-profit, religious, or mission-oriented organizations
