Job description
HealthPro Talent is partnering with a highly respected Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice in Brooklyn, NY, seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a provider passionate about women's health, high-risk obstetrics, and delivering exceptional care to mothers and babies. Whether you are an experienced Nurse Practitioner or a new graduate with prior Labor & Delivery or OB-GYN experience, this practice offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced team dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for every pregnancy.
About the Opportunity
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, ultrasound technologists, and clinical support staff to provide comprehensive care for women experiencing both routine and high-risk pregnancies. You will play an integral role in guiding patients through some of the most important moments of their lives while helping manage complex maternal and fetal conditions.
This position offers a supportive, team-oriented environment where patient care, education, and clinical excellence are top priorities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations
- Evaluate and manage obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine patients
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Review and interpret laboratory results, diagnostic studies, and imaging reports
- Provide patient education regarding prenatal care, pregnancy management, treatment plans, and preventive health measures
- Coordinate care with referring physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record
- Support patients and families throughout the pregnancy journey with compassionate, evidence-based care
- Participate in ongoing clinical quality and patient care initiatives
Qualifications
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
- Experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Women's Health, Obstetrics, Labor & Delivery, or a related specialty preferred
- New graduates are encouraged to apply if they possess prior Labor & Delivery or OB-GYN experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
