Interventional Radiology Technologist II

*****Will train. No experience required*****

Position will be Mon - Fri alternating times of 0630-1700, and 0730-1800 (flexible). One night of call per week and one weekend (Fri 1700-Mon 0700) per month.

Job Summary and Qualifications

This position is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all vascular and interventional radiology procedures.

· Communicates and works independently in performing all procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.

· Prioritizes, provides, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Swedish Medical Center.

· Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards.

· Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees.

· Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions. 

What qualifications you will need:

• Current ARRT (RT) (R). (VI) or (CV) certification strongly preferred. Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC. Advanced ARRT Credentials preferred. 
• · Graduate of a 24-month AMA approved school of Radiological Technology. 
• · One year diagnostic experience required (ARRT).
• · Interventional Radiology experience preferred. 
• · Solid to expert knowledge of all Interventional Radiology procedures.
• · Demonstrates good organizational skills.
• · Provides safe and appropriate patient care.
• · Displays appropriate judgment and problem-solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers. 

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (ARRT-VI) Vascular Interventional Radiography, or (ARRT-CI) Cardiac Interventional Radiography
