At HCCS, we believe in investing in our people. We are committed to providing stable, long-term employment, not temporary contracts or project-based work. Every member of our coding team is a direct-hire W-2 employee who plays an important role in delivering high-quality coding services to our clients. We proudly keep all coding operations within the United States and never offshore our work, allowing us to maintain exceptional quality while supporting American coding professionals.

If you are an expert inpatient coder with a passion for accuracy, complex coding, and DRG integrity, we encourage you to apply.

  • Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRGs, and Official Coding Guidelines.
  • Experience coding highly complex inpatient cases, including trauma, critical care, surgical, and medically complex encounters.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare inpatient reimbursement methodologies and DRG assignment.
  • Proven ability to maintain high coding accuracy while meeting productivity expectations.
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and documentation review skills.
  • Must reside in the United States.
  • Please note: This is an Inpatient Facility coding position and is not a Pro Fee (E/M) coding role.

Job Type:

  • Full-time
  • Fully Remote

Benefits:

Why HCCS?

  • Family-owned company celebrating more than 20 years of excellence in healthcare coding.
  • 100% U.S.-based workforce with no offshore coding.
  • Direct-hire W-2 employment from day one.
  • Long-term career opportunities with consistent, year-round work.
  • Supportive leadership committed to your professional growth and success.
  • Flexible remote work environment that promotes work-life balance.

Join a company that values quality, integrity, and the expertise of experienced inpatient coding professionals. If you're ready to make an impact while building a long-term career, we would love to hear from you.
