    HealthSource Saginaw is looking for licensed Registered Nurses to work under independent self-employed contract.

    Type: Full-time or Part-time positions - you choose the commitment that works with your schedule

    Shift: Day Shift 7am - 7:30 pm, Night Shift 7pm - 7:30 am

    HealthSource Saginaw, located in Saginaw Township, is one of the largest employers in Saginaw County. For more than eighty years HealthSource has been a healthcare focal point in the Great Lakes Bay Region and is unlike any other hospital in the region, caring for people who are seeking long-term care, recovery from surgery, debilitating illness or injury, chemical dependency, or mental health issues.

    Saginaw County is located in the central portion of Michigan's mitten and is part of an economically diverse Great Lakes Bay Region (Saginaw, Arenac, Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Isabella and Midland Counties) The Great Lakes Bay Region is home to unique cities, including Bay City, Birch Run, Frankenmuth, Midland and Saginaw and is a short drive from major metropolitan attractions like the Grand Rapids ArtPrize or a Detroit Lions Game. Saginaw County is home to numerous public, private, and parochial K-12 schools, Delta College, nationally recognized as one of America's leading community colleges, and Saginaw Valley State University, a comprehensive university with more than 100 undergraduate and graduate programs of study.     HealthSource Saginaw provides shift and Holiday premiums, tuition assistance and a comprehensive benefit package including paid time off, major medical, prescription, vision, dental, defined contribution retirement plan with up to 7% employer match, health reimbursement account, flex-spending account, employer paid life insurance and short/long term disability. HealthSource is a qualifying employer of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program that after making 120 qualifying monthly payments, forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loan.

    Job Duties:

    • Must supply self with needed benefits and make all appropriate tax, social security, Medicare and other withholding payments as required.
    • Hospital does not provide worker's compensation insurance coverage nor make any unemployment tax payments.
    • Required to submit invoice of hours worked every two weeks for payment.
    • Must maintain (at sole expense) valid policies of insurance evidencing general and professional liability coverage of not less than $1,000,000/occurrence and $3,000,000 in the aggregate.
