Position Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Manhattan
(Trauma Level I and Joint Commission Accredited)

Shift Details:
  • Days, Mids, 4PM-12AM, Rotating Weekends.
Compensation:
  • Competitive pay at $55 per hour, based on experience.
Qualifications:
  • 1 year MRI experience
  • Current certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Explain the MRI procedure to patients and address any concerns to ensure their comfort.
  • Preparation: Prepare patients for the scan, including positioning them correctly and providing necessary instructions.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and adjust MRI machines to capture high-quality images based on specific protocols.
  • Image Quality Assessment: Review images for clarity and completeness, making adjustments as needed to optimize results.
  • Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients during the scan for any signs of discomfort and ensure their safety.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with radiologists to discuss findings and ensure proper diagnoses.
