Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with each patient to assess their physical condition and symptoms, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and design individualized treatment plans that focus on effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Educate patients on the appropriate use of therapeutic exercise techniques to enhance their recovery.
• Administer hands-on therapies including therapeutic massage and electrical stimulation to promote healing.
• Guide patients through the use of mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring safety and confidence in their use.
• Maintain accurate patient records that document treatment plans, progress, and outcomes, thus ensuring continuity of care.
• Advise patients and their families on effective in-home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery and management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Dynamic Care Psychotherapy, our therapists work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, neurological disorders, and age-related conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of California.

• Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient information efficiently.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation is preferred but not mandatory.

• Two years of experience in the field of physical therapy is an advantage.
