Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Medical Receptionist to join our Practice on a fulltime basis. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service to patients while supporting the daily administrative operations of the practice. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
  • Check patients in and out, ensuring accurate information and smooth patient flow
  • Collect copays, balances, and other payments
  • Send, receive, and manage faxes; review incoming documents for accuracy
  • Coordinate and send patient referrals
  • Obtain and process prior authorizations as needed
  • Schedule appointments and assist with patient inquiries
  • Make copies, print documents, and maintain organized records
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Perform other general receptionist and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous medical receptionist or front desk experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a must
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Proficient in computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR)

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • 30-40 hours Monday - Friday possible weekends

Work Environment:

  • Outpatient medical office setting
  • Fast-paced and patient-focused environment

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
