Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, employing solution-focused strategies and evidence-based practices to create individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to foster resilience and guide clients toward achieving their therapeutic goals.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that each client’s records are secure and reflective of their treatment journey.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team of professionals—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes for patients.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review sessions, contributing insights and feedback that enhance the overall quality of care at our clinic.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment approaches, and community resources to empower them on their path to recovery.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and integrate new methodologies into practice to provide clients with the most effective care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse clientele encompasses individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related fields from an accredited institution is required.
• An active, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist in New York State.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy, with a track record of developing tailored treatment plans for diverse populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect and build rapport with clients, fostering lasting therapeutic relationships.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities to assess complex client situations and provide tailored therapeutic interventions.
• A collaborative mindset that encourages teamwork and values the input of colleagues in providing comprehensive care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting, particularly with diverse client groups.
• Familiarity with using electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing client documentation and clinical data.
• Experience participating in multidisciplinary treatment teams, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, reflecting our commitment to hiring and retaining talented professionals.
