    PRN Family or Internal Medicine Physician
    Corpus Christi, Texas

    We don't measure success by RVUs-we measure it by healthier patients, stronger relationships, and sustainable care. Through longer visits, smaller patient panels, and an integrated care team, you'll be empowered to focus on whole-person health, lifestyle medicine, and long-term outcomes.
    Our clinic, in partnership with Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas serves hospital employees and their adult dependents "Healthcare Professionals taking care of Healthcare Professionals." We are currently seeking a PRN Family or Internal Medicine Physicians who is passionate about practicing medicine with purpose.

    Schedule & Flexibility
    We are seeking a provider who would be available to work on Fridays from 8:00am - 5:00pm.

    Responsibilities:
    • Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients in order to meet their needs
    • Educates patients on wellness, prevention, and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients
    • Determines which referrals are required based on examination and patient needs
    • Determines level of urgency of follow-up, referral/consultation appointments
    • Exercises final medical judgment in all issues of health care
    • Prescribes medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients
    • Orders studies, test, and ancillary services
    • Documents all services in patient medical record in the EHR (Elation)
    • Reviews on a regular basis long term cases that require ongoing medical attention
    • Consults with Physician Lead, Director of Medicine, and other professionals on staff as needed regarding patient care, assessment, and educational issues
    • Assists as needed in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients
    • Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations

    Requirements
    • Graduate of an accredited US School of Medicine; MD or DO
    • BC / BE, Family or Internal Medicine
    • Current unrestricted Texas License
    • BLS
