You will collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists, ensuring a comprehensive approach to treatment that combines various perspectives and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement evidence-based therapy strategies tailored to address the specific needs of clients facing addiction and mental health challenges.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that focus on addiction-related issues, trauma, and additional mental health concerns, fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate clients' progress, utilizing clinical judgment to adapt treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Engage with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care, actively participating in case discussions and collaborative treatment planning.
  • Educate clients and their families on relevant mental health topics, addiction recovery, and strategies for maintaining stability and wellness.
  • Maintain comprehensive and confidential records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

The clients you will serve are individuals struggling with various types of addiction, including substance use disorders, and often face concurrent mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, or trauma-related disorders. Your role will be instrumental in guiding them through their recovery process, focusing on resilience and empowerment.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution or university.
  • A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
  • A minimum of three years of recent experience in providing mental health support in a clinical setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Additional training or specialization in rehabilitation mental health is highly valued, as it further equips candidates to address the complexities of dual diagnoses and substance use disorders effectively.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes monthly productivity bonuses, a focus on continued professional development, and scheduled supervision to enhance your growth as a counselor.
