Position Summary: We’re hiring an experienced, Automotive Technician with their own basic tools, ASE Certified or equivalent, strong diagnostic skills, and a positive, team-first attitude. You’ll perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and final inspections on domestic and import vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering/suspension, electrical, HVAC and drivability issues
- Perform scheduled maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services)
- Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to pinpoint issues and provide accurate repair plans
- Complete repair orders, document work performed, and communicate clearly with service advisors and customers
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow shop procedures
- Mentor junior techs when applicable
Required Qualifications:
- ASE certification or equivalent required
- Minimum 2+ years hands-on automotive technician experience (preferred 3+ years)
- Owns basic tool set and diagnostic tools
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills across multiple vehicle systems
- Clean, professional demeanor; excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lift/stand for extended periods
Preferred:
- Manufacturer-specific certifications or advanced diagnostic training
- Experience with electronic diagnostics and advanced drivability issues
