About the Role:
Haystack Pizza Inc is looking for a passionate and skilled Hand Pizza Maker to join our team in San Francisco, CA! If you love the art of crafting delicious pizzas from scratch and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Come be a part of a team that takes pride in every pie we make!
Responsibilities:
  • Hand-stretch and shape pizza dough to consistent size and thickness
  • Prepare and apply sauces, cheeses, and toppings according to recipes and customer orders
  • Operate and monitor pizza ovens to ensure proper baking temperatures and times
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
  • Follow food safety and handling guidelines at all times
  • Assist with daily prep work including dough production, ingredient portioning, and restocking
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in pizza making, dough handling, or a similar kitchen role preferred
  • Proficiency in hand-stretching and shaping pizza dough
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in food preparation
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
  • Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one
