Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations by obtaining detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations to assess health conditions accurately.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of urgent medical issues, ranging from minor injuries and illnesses to more complex health concerns, ensuring timely and quality care.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures as indicated, under the supervision of attending physicians, which may include suturing lacerations, removing foreign bodies, and managing wound care.
  • Maintain meticulous and electronic medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up care to enhance continuity and quality of care.
  • Engage in patient education, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and health maintenance strategies to empower patients toward better health outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our urgent care center serves a diverse patient population including children, adults, and seniors who present with a range of acute health issues. You will play a crucial role in responding to urgent needs, promoting a patient-centered approach that values thorough assessments and personalized treatment plans to ensure each individual receives appropriate care.

Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required.
  • A valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Exceptional clinical skills with the ability to make independent decisions within your scope of practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that enhances the patient experience.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or primary care settings is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary package, with an annual income between $150,000 and $180,000, commensurate with experience.
