Position Overview
We are seeking an exceptionally organized, proactive, and driven Senior Product Operations Manager to become a key member of our leadership team. This is not a traditional project management role. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys solving problems independently, and takes ownership of projects from start to finish.
This individual will serve as the operational bridge between leadership, clients, and our software development team. They will oversee software quality assurance, manage product enhancements and bug resolution, coordinate priorities across multiple platforms, and ensure projects continue moving forward without constant direction.
Success in this role requires someone who is comfortable working directly with executives, managing competing priorities, communicating confidently with clients, and anticipating needs before they become problems.
What You'll Do
Product Operations & Quality Assurance
- Perform hands-on testing of software applications, new features, and daily development builds.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and validate software bugs and usability issues.
- Verify fixes prior to release and ensure product quality meets expectations.
- Develop and maintain testing procedures and QA documentation.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve software quality and user experience.
- Project & Development Coordination
- Own the lifecycle of bugs, feature requests, and product enhancements.
- Prioritize development work based on business needs and customer impact.
- Work closely with developers to remove blockers and keep projects moving.
- Coordinate software releases and deployment communication.
- Maintain organized project tracking and provide leadership with accurate status updates.
- Ensure deadlines are met and hold teams accountable for deliverables.
Executive Operations
- Work directly with executive leadership to manage priorities across multiple products and initiatives.
- Anticipate operational needs before they arise.
- Organize meetings, follow-ups, and action items to ensure execution.
- Help leadership stay focused by driving accountability across teams.
- Quickly shift priorities as business needs evolve.
Client Success & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the development team.
- Lead client meetings regarding product updates, issues, and project progress.
- Communicate timelines clearly and proactively.
- Manage urgent requests with professionalism and a strong sense of ownership.
- Build long-term relationships through exceptional communication and responsiveness.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Product Operations, Project Management, QA, Client Success, Business Operations, or a related role.
- Experience working directly with executive leadership.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles.
- Experience using Jira, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, or similar project management tools.
- Bug tracking & reporting, API Fundamentals
