Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that align with the goals and circumstances of each client.
• Provide individualized, couples, and group therapy that effectively addresses a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to coordinate comprehensive care and maximize positive outcomes for our clients.
• Maintain meticulous client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, safeguarding confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, engage in case conferences, and continually pursue professional development to enhance counseling skills and therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Harmony Help Network, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families. This includes those struggling with mood disorders like depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety issues, PTSD from traumatic events, as well as those seeking support for addiction and recovery. You will play a crucial role in fostering resilience and coping strategies among clients from various cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) issued by the state of Florida.
• A Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated capability in conducting both individual and group therapy within clinical mental health settings.
• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to meet diverse mental health needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling the establishment of strong rapport with clients, fostering trust and collaboration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that facilitate effective therapy and documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a community health setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
