Job description

Do you enjoy working with people and keeping things organized? Are you passionate about fresh food and providing excellent customer service? If so, then a Deli Helper position at our exciting store could be your perfect fit!
In this role, you'll be the heart of our deli department, ensuring a smooth operation and keeping our customers happy.
What You'll Do:
  • Customer Service Champion: Greet customers with a warm smile, answer their questions about our deli selections, and take orders with accuracy.
  • Slicing & Dicing: Safely operate deli slicers to prepare meats and cheeses according to customer preferences and established portion sizes.
  • Freshness First: Maintain a clean and organized deli counter, rotate stock to ensure freshness, and ensure proper labeling of all products.
  • Packaging Pro: Carefully package customer orders, ensuring accurate weight and a visually appealing presentation.
  • Cash Register Whiz: Operate the cash register efficiently, processing payments and providing accurate change.
  • Cleanliness Crew: Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment by following all food safety regulations and cleaning procedures.
  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively with other deli staff members to ensure smooth operation and efficient customer service.
  • Assist with preparing pre-made deli salads, sandwiches, or platters.
  • Assist with catering orders and special customer requests.
