We are currently seeking a dedicated Infection Control Nurse to join our team. As a Infection Control Nurse, you will utilize your strong organizational and leadership skills to assess resident status, implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms, and develop and implement resident care plans to enhance and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to assess resident status, implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms, and develop and implement resident care plans to enhance and improve outcomes.

• Administer and document resident immunizations.

• Monitor, document, and report on antibiotic use.

• Monitor, document, and report on Bowel & Bladder program.

• Make rounds to ensure compliance with Infection Control standards and policies.

• Participate in Quarterly QAPI meetings.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.

• Formal working knowledge of Infection Control experience; Infection Control experience is required.

• Prior experience as LTC RN/LPN preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must complete Infection Preventionist course within 3 months of hire.
