Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic equipment, to alleviate pain and improve function.
• Carefully document each patient's progress and update treatment plans as necessary, ensuring alignment with therapeutic goals.
• Provide education to patients and their families on the therapeutic processes and rehabilitation methods to foster understanding and adherence to treatment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members in planning and maintaining an integrated approach to patient care.
• Continuously monitor patient outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols to achieve optimal results.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy through ongoing professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric individuals facing various physical challenges. This may include patients recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or sustaining disabilities due to neurological or orthopedic conditions. Your expertise will greatly influence their recovery trajectories and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapy license from the State of Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in computer systems and documentation software necessary for maintaining patient records.
• An adaptable and proactive attitude, ready to adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, though we are also welcoming new graduates seeking mentorship.
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting or home health environment would be beneficial.
• Previous engagement with assistive devices and training patients on their use is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
