Job Summary
Happy Earth is seeking experienced landscape workers to perform landscape service and maintenance at customer homes. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience doing landscape services, especially natural pruning and plant care.

Job Requirements

• Operate landscape equipment: Perform daily landscape services weeding, pruning, mowing, and cleaning hardscape services.
• Plant knowledge: Knowledge of plants is a plus.
• Water & Irrigation: Experience installing and maintaining drip irrigation systems and sprinkler irrigation systems is a plus.
• Customer Relations: Ability to communicate with customers is a plus.
• Safety Compliance: Ability to work safely.
  

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or residential landscape service and maintenance. Ability to use all landscape tools, such as trimmer, blower, hand clipper, lopper, hedge trimmer, lawn mower, chain saw.
• Horticulture Knowledge: Knowledge of plants, especially California native plants, drought-tolerant landscapes, soil types, and natural habitats, is a plus.
• License: Valid Class C California Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Certifications: California Native Plant Certified Landscaper highly preferred
• Technology: Proficient in MS Office/Aspire and able to use smart irrigation controllers as well as older versions of irrigation controllers
• Languages: Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Ability to work outdoors in various California weather conditions (heat, sun, rain)
• Ability to work on dirt slopes
• Ability to climb ladders and work on ladders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
