Job description

We're hiring a full-time Talent Acquisition Manager to lead workforce hiring for active construction projects across three regions: Iowa, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. This is a high-volume, hands-on recruiting role — you'll be responsible for building and executing a sourcing strategy to hire approximately 200 carpenters and laborers over the next two years, plus ongoing replacement hiring (~20% annual turnover), and a small number of supervisory/management hires.

This role is ideal for someone who knows how to source skilled trades talent in rural and mid-size markets — not a corporate generalist recruiter, but someone comfortable working union halls, trade schools, job fairs, and local networks to build a real pipeline.

What You'll Do

Own full-cycle recruiting for carpenters, laborers, and select management/supervisory roles across three regional markets
Build and maintain sourcing pipelines through trade schools, union halls, apprenticeship programs, local job boards, and community partnerships
Manage a steady hiring cadence (~10-15 hires/month) while tracking time-to-fill and pipeline health by region
Screen, interview, and coordinate hiring decisions with project/site leadership
Monitor local labor market conditions in each region and flag when a market needs additional sourcing support
Manage job postings, applicant tracking, and candidate communication from first contact through onboarding
Support onboarding logistics for new field hires

What We're Looking For

3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, or another blue-collar/field workforce environment
Proven ability to source and fill high-volume roles, not just corporate/office positions
Comfort working independently across multiple markets, including rural areas
Strong organizational skills to manage a consistent hiring pipeline over a multi-year project timeline
Familiarity with trade school, apprenticeship, or union hiring channels a strong plus
Willingness to travel periodically to Ohio and Pennsylvania project sites

What We Offer

Competitive salary ($85K–$110K based on experience)
Health, dental, and vision insurance
401(k)
Paid time off
The opportunity to build a hiring function from the ground up across a multi-state project
