Overall Activities: We currently have an opening for an Electrical Engineer in one of our offices serving commercial and industrial clients, designing power, lighting, and auxiliary facility systems for buildings. The successful candidate will work in multi-disciplinary design and construction teams to produce reports, drawings and specifications in accordance with Hallam-ICS standards, provide guidance and training for young engineers, assist with project and client management, conduct field surveys and observations and be excited by the opportunity to expand and grow our business.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Excellent communication skills
• 5 -10 years of design experience
• A self-starter with self-management, technical and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to coordinate with different engineering disciplines and the desire to work in a small, self-directed team environment.
• PE registration or able to sit for the exam or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other software design tools.
• A working knowledge of current best engineering design practices and application of building and electrical codes.
