JOB DESCRIPTION: Production Materials Associate

POSITION SUMMARY

Haley Strategic Partners is looking for a motivated production associate to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties include performing materials preparation for sewing production using manufacturing equipment (cutting/kitting textile materials), performing quality control on completed materials kits, keeping an accurate count of inventory with cycle count as well as maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the manufacturing floor. You will be directly reporting to the Cutting Team Leader for all other duties required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for cutting/kitting textile materials for manufacturing orders
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the work environment
• Maintaining a safe working environment
• Working with a team to complete tasks
• Completing and submitting progress reports for completed tasks

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to safely operate in a sewing production facility including ability to learn the proper usage of production equipment (laser cutters, clicker presses, hot/cold knife cutters and other similar manufacturing equipment)*
• Ability to follow instructions and ability to learn to identify textile materials and interpret BOMs (Bill of Materials) and TDPs (Technical Design Packages)*
• Ability to stand for long durations of time at various production machinery
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work 40 Hours per week
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

*Prior textile manufacturing experience is not required for this entry level position, all necessary training to perform job responsibilities will be provided on site.
