Sales Systems & Business Development Manager
Location: Honolulu, HI -- On-site

HTM Group is a Hawaii-based family of companies operating across construction, environmental services, dumpster manufacturing, equipment sales, demolition, specialty contracting, and related service industries. We are growing quickly, operating through the Entrepreneurial Operating System, and building a team of high performers who take ownership of their responsibilities.
This is not a traditional sales representative position.
HTM Group is seeking a Sales Systems & Business Development Manager who can build, manage, and improve the sales operation across multiple companies. You will own the CRM, develop sales procedures, train teams, establish reporting, strengthen follow-up, improve close rates, and create outbound business-development strategies. You will report directly to executive leadership. Your results will be highly visible, and your advancement will be tied to the systems you build and the measurable growth you produce.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage company-wide sales systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Own the structure, accuracy, adoption, and performance of HubSpot.
- Standardize pipeline stages, contact records, follow-up activities, and reporting.
- Train estimators, managers, sales employees, and operational leaders on required sales processes.
- Hold teams accountable for CRM use, lead follow-up, and pipeline management.
- Improve lead-response times across all divisions.
- Strengthen proposal quality, follow-up consistency, and close rates.
- Develop outbound business-development strategies.
- Build referral relationships and strategic partner networks.
- Identify new commercial, government, and service-sector opportunities.
- Produce weekly pipeline, activity, conversion, and sales-performance reports.
- Present sales key performance indicators to leadership.
- Create a culture of measurable accountability across the sales operation.
- Develop the foundation for outbound sales and field marketing initiatives.
- Identify weaknesses in the sales process and implement practical improvements.
- Partner with leadership to support revenue growth throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, sales operations, or revenue operations.
- Demonstrated ability to create repeatable sales systems and procedures.
- Strong CRM administration and pipeline-management experience.
- HubSpot experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to train teams and enforce process accountability.
- Experience tracking and reporting sales key performance indicators.
- Strong understanding of lead management, follow-up, proposals, pipeline development, and conversion.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-expectation environment.
- Construction, contracting, manufacturing, environmental-service, or home-service experience preferred.
- Experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to execute independently without constant management.
- Humble, team-oriented, accountable, and solution-driven.
- Must demonstrate the ability, motivation, and capacity to successfully perform the responsibilities of this role.
Success in the First 90 Days
- HubSpot is properly structured and actively used across participating teams.
- Core sales procedures are documented and being trained.
- Weekly pipeline and performance reporting is operational.
- Lead-response times have measurably improved.
- Follow-up compliance is consistently tracked.
- Leadership has clear visibility into pipeline health, activity, and conversion.
- Teams understand their responsibilities within the sales process.
Pay and Benefits
- Full-time, W-2 Employment
- Base salary: $95,000 - $105,000 per year, based on experience
- Eligible for performance-based bonuses tied to measurable business and sales objectives.
- Six-level career progression based on measurable performance, leadership, and business results.
- Weekly pay
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
- 30-minute lunch period
