McGill Environmental Systems is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for our Morrisville, PA facility. If you have experience operating loaders, excavators, skid steers, backhoes, or similar equipment, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a company dedicated to sustainability and operational excellence.
Schedule
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
Occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed

The Role
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll play a vital role in transforming organic waste into high-quality compost, mulch, and soil products that support healthier communities and a cleaner environment.
You'll safely operate heavy equipment to move, process, blend, screen, and transport materials while maintaining production, safety, and quality standards.
This is hands-on work for someone who takes pride in operating equipment efficiently, working safely, and contributing to a team environment.
What You'll Do
Operate Front-End Loaders, Excavators, Skid Steers, Backhoes, Grinders, Screeners, and other heavy equipment
Load trucks and transport materials throughout the facility
Perform blending and material processing operations
Conduct daily safety inspections and equipment checks
Identify and report equipment issues requiring maintenance
Support production goals while maintaining product quality standards
Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
Participate in safety meetings and training programs
Maintain a productive and efficient workflow

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience operating Front-End Loaders, Excavators, Skid Steers, Backhoes, or similar heavy equipment
Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable transportation to the Morrisville, PA facility
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Dependable attendance and work ethic
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work on uneven terrain
Ability to climb on and off equipment throughout the shift
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Ability to work around dust, dirt, mud, noise, odors, and moving machinery
Ability to wear required PPE and respiratory protection when required
