Looking for a hands-on role working with dogs in a structured, professional kennel environment?

We are seeking a reliable, experienced person who is confident handling dogs, managing playgroups, and working within regulated care standards.

This is not an entry-level, casual pet job—this is for someone who understands dog behavior, takes safety seriously, and can operate within a licensed facility.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for the daily care, supervision, and safety of dogs in our small, controlled kennel setting (max 30 dogs).

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising and managing structured dog playgroups
• Reading behavior and preventing escalation before it happens
• Maintaining a clean, organized kennel environment
• Feeding, medication support, and daily care routines
• Following all safety and compliance protocols
• Representing a high standard of care for every dog

⚠️ What We’re Specifically Looking For

• Experienced Applicant
• Prior kennel and/or dog playgroup experience REQUIRED
• Strong understanding of dog behavior and group dynamics
• Ability to stay calm, assertive, and aware in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented

Bonus if you have:

• Experience working in a licensed facility
• Familiarity with Department of Agriculture standards and inspections

⏰ Schedule Options

We operate on two primary shifts:

• Morning: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Evening: 3:30 PM – 9:00 PM

✔ Set schedules available
✔ Flexible scheduling options available

Pay + Perks

• Starting at $13/hr, with growth up to $20/hr
• Weekend pay is higher than weekday rates
• Holiday pay
