HOA Property Manager

Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in HOA management 
  • Certifications: Not required however, Certifications such as Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) or Association Management Specialist (AMS), would be helpful.
  • An HOA property manager plays a crucial role in maintaining community standards and ensuring smooth operations.
 Key skills include:
  • Leadership: Ability to lead projects and motivate community members and board members effectively and to lead on site projects. 
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently when required as well as cooperating as a team player.
·        Communication: Essential for keeping the board and residents informed about ongoing issues and updates. 
·        Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital for clear interactions with residents, vendors, and the board.
·        HOA Knowledge: Familiarity with HOA regulations and management practices is vital.
·        Contractor Experience: Skills in finding and managing reliable contractors.
·        Technology Awareness: HOA Management Software, Google products such as Gmail, google sheets and google docs. 
·        Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve conflicts or issues within the community.
·        Financial Acumen: Skills in budgeting and financial management are important for overseeing community funds. Understanding budgeting, financial reporting, and managing community funds is essential.  Will work daily with the HOA Accounting Specialist and Accounting Dept. 
·        Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
·        Conflict Resolution: Skills in managing disputes and maintaining professionalism in challenging situations are important.
