Job description

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including:
    • Echocardiograms (2D Echo, Doppler, Color Flow)
    • Carotid artery ultrasounds
    • Venous and arterial Doppler studies of upper and lower extremities
    • ABI testing and vascular studies
    • Leg ultrasounds for DVT evaluation
    • Abdominal and soft tissue ultrasounds as needed
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain testing processes
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
  • Follow clinic protocols, HIPAA regulations, and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff regarding urgent findings
