Role Purpose:
The Inside Sales Representative role provides an excellent opportunity to join a high-performance Sales team operating in the fast growth industrial, biomedical and aerospace sectors. This position is ideal for someone looking to develop a strong base of fundamental sales skills needed for a successful career in sales.
This role is responsible for outbound prospecting, lead generation and qualification, customer follow-up, and supporting the sales quoting process. Working closely with Field Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing, the Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in developing new business while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other sales tools to identify new business opportunities.
  • Research, develop, and qualify sales leads for the Field Sales Manager.
  • Contact prospective customers to introduce HITEC Sensors' products and capabilities.
  • Follow up on existing quotations to answer customer questions, identify next steps, and help move opportunities toward a purchase decision.
  • Re-engage customers and prospects on lost or inactive business opportunities to identify new sales potential.
  • Support Field Sales Representatives by coordinating quotations, tracking opportunities, and maintaining customer communications.
  • Partner with Customer Service to prepare, distribute, and follow up on customer quotations.
  • Maintain accurate customer, contact, and opportunity information in Salesforce or the Company's CRM system.
  • Develop a strong understanding of HITEC's products, applications, and target industries.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Service to deliver exceptional customer experience.
  • Meet established activity goals for outbound calls, lead generation, customer follow-up, and pipeline development.
    Education and/or Experience:
    Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Business or a technical discipline
    Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.com.
