We’re a growing small business known for our award-winning bagels and ice cream, and we’re searching for an enthusiastic Assistant Baker & Ice Cream Maker to help us craft the treats our customers rave about.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Assistant Baker & Ice Cream Maker, you’ll play a key role in our kitchen operations. Here’s what your day might look like: - Production Support: Assist the Head Baker and Ice Cream Maker with preparing and producing bagels and ice cream daily. - Quality Control: Precisely measure and mix ingredients to maintain consistency and adhere to recipes. - Kitchen Upkeep: Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards. - Logistics: Help with inventory management, stocking ingredients, and lifting heavy supplies. - Delivery Duties: Safely transport bagels to our other shops and wholesale customers using our company delivery van.

What We’re Looking For

We’re all about passion and dedication! While no professional baking experience is required, prior kitchen and food handling experience is a must. Here’s what we value in our ideal candidate: - Food Enthusiast: A love for food, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. - Detail-Oriented: The ability to follow instructions and maintain top-notch quality. - Team Player: A positive attitude with excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Physical Stamina: Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced environment and lifting up to 50 lbs. - Clean Driving Record: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving history for delivery responsibilities.

Shift Schedules & Hours

This position offers a 4-day work week with the following shift options: - Baking Shifts: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM - Ice Cream Making Shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Sunday through Thursday)
