Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients to determine their mental health status, including evaluating their needs and goals.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, tailoring appropriate therapeutic interventions for each client.
  • Consistently meet with clients on a regular basis to monitor progress, adjust therapeutic strategies as necessary, and equip them with effective coping mechanisms.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe environment for discussion and healing.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care and refer clients for additional services as needed.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including those struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and eating disorders. Your experience with varied mental health conditions will enable you to provide effective support and guidance. You will develop cultural competence to address clients' unique backgrounds and experiences, promoting an inclusive treatment approach that respects their individual journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a solid understanding of mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.
  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills, maintaining composure and empathy in challenging situations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in individual and group therapy, utilizing culturally responsive practices.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches and ongoing professional development to stay updated with advancements in mental health care.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Compensation and Benefits
