Job description

Guardian Mold Remediation is looking for an experienced remediation professional to lead jobs throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

This is a hands-on field position. You will work in crawlspaces, attics, basements, and other areas affected by mold and moisture. The work can be hot, cold, dirty, and physically demanding. It includes setting containment, operating air scrubbers and negative-air equipment, removing affected materials, HEPA vacuuming, cleaning, applying antimicrobial products, and documenting each project.

We need someone who understands remediation work and can take ownership of a job from setup through completion. You should be comfortable leading other field workers, communicating with homeowners, solving problems in the field, and keeping projects organized.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead residential mold remediation projects
  • Review project scopes and prepare the necessary equipment and materials
  • Establish containment and negative air
  • Perform demolition and remove affected drywall, insulation, flooring, and other materials
  • Complete HEPA vacuuming, detailed cleaning, and antimicrobial treatment
  • Work in crawlspaces, attics, basements, and confined areas
  • Take clear before, during, and after photographs
  • Maintain accurate job notes and documentation
  • Direct and supervise field workers
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners
  • Keep vehicles, tools, and remediation equipment clean and organized
  • Follow company safety procedures and remediation protocols
  • Assist with water mitigation, demolition, and reconstruction work when needed

Requirements:

  • At least three years of mold remediation, water mitigation, or restoration experience
  • Experience independently setting containment and negative air
  • Ability to lead a job and supervise other workers
  • Knowledge of moisture control, air filtration, demolition, and cleaning procedures
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces
  • Ability to wear a respirator and other required PPE
  • Dependable, organized, and able to communicate clearly
  • IICRC WRT, AMRT, or related certifications are preferred but not required

Compensation:

  • $32-$45 per hour, based on experience and certifications
  • Performance bonus opportunities
  • Paid time off
  • Company vehicle provided during work hours
  • Opportunity to take on greater responsibility as our field operations grow

Schedule:

This is a full-time position. Most work is performed during normal weekday hours, although occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be required depending on the project.

To apply, please submit your resume and briefly describe your experience with mold remediation, containment, negative air, demolition, and leading field crews.
