What You'll Do- Develop and implement educational curriculum through the creation of engaging classroom activities that align with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
- Model and coach teaching team members to achieve success by demonstrating excellence in your own work.
- Plan age-appropriate activities that foster social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children, while promoting a sense of community and teamwork.
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents through regular discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
- E nsure that all center policies and state regulations are met, upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity.
- C reate a healthy and safe classroom environment, including maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.
- Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Accurately maintain records, forms, and files, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Develop and maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement and growth as an educator.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- 9 credits in ECE
- CPR and First aid certified or willing to become certified
- Must pass a background check
- 1 year experience in a child care or public school setting
