As an insurance brokerage specializing in all types of commercial and personal insurance, employee benefits, life, pensions, and risk management, we offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment where you can grow both personally and professionally. Daily Responsibilities: Track producer commissions and ensure they are paid in a timely and accurate fasion Bookkeeping in QuickBooks Premium payment tracking, billing, commission tracking, and more in Applied EPIC Utilize accounting software to maintain balance sheets and perform variance analysis Ensure internal control compliance and accurate journal entries Prepare financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Other responsibilities as the postion evolves Requirements: Experience with month-end close processes Strong financial planning and analysis skills Ability to perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting Knowledge of budget forecasting and reimbursement procedures Experince with the Applied EPIC agency management system Experience with QuickBooks Nice-to-Have: Property and Casualty Insurance License in good standing Life and Health License in good standing Salary and Benefits: Flexible Schedules Holiday Pay Paid Time Off Commission Opportunities Bonus Opportunities Company Information: Group Coverage, Inc.
