Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Charleston, SC. This position oversees custom residential construction projects from pre-construction through completion, managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating design and construction teams, organizing and expediting materials and subcontractor work, and conducting on-site inspections to ensure adherence to plans and specifications. The Project Manager maintains detailed project documentation, resolves issues proactively, and communicates regularly with clients to provide updates and align on expectations. The role also involves managing logistics, monitoring safety and compliance, and supporting continuous improvement in processes and workflows.

Qualifications

• Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Expeditor and expediting skills to manage procurement, track orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Inspection experience, with the ability to review work for quality, safety, and compliance with building codes and project specifications.
• Logistics management skills to oversee site operations, deliveries, and resource allocation across multiple phases of construction.
• Relevant experience in high-end residential or custom home construction, preferably in a project management or site supervision role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, designers, and trades.
• Proficiency with project management software and construction documentation tools; familiarity with scheduling platforms is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Charleston, SC, with a focus on safety, quality, and client experience.
