Job description

Position: Vice President of Sales

Location: Raleigh, NC (Remote)

Pay: $170,000/year

Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales management, particularly with a remote workforce.

Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

Greene Resources is seeking a Vice President of Sales to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description: 

  1. Lead and manage the Sales team to identify and develop new clients and partnerships through strategic sales techniques and building relevant relationships.
  2. Train and ensure the Sales team effectively communicates our client's value proposition through compelling presentations, proposals, and engaging post-sale activities.
  3. Oversee and prioritize sales activities to meet annual KPIs, while managing personal productivity and time efficiently.
  4. Ensure the Sales team meets annual KPIs and maintains CRM compliance.
  5. Plan and oversee client business portfolios in alignment with company directives.
  6. Respond to sales inquiries promptly and follow up using company-approved methods.
  7. Utilize and maintain sales, customer, and prospect contact tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, HubSpot, ZoomInfo), ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
  8. Develop and implement business processes, policies, and plans to boost the Sales team's effectiveness.
  9. Facilitate profitable business development and sustainable relationships through effective internal and external communication, liaison, and negotiation.
  10. Other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements:   

  1. Proven experience in C-Level B2B sales and account management, with parcel industry experience being highly valued.
  2. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including phone etiquette and presentation abilities.
  3. Competent in addressing client queries, resolving issues, and negotiating sales-related matters.
  4. Ability to understand, analyze, and interpret business contracts.
  5. Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in situations with limited standardization.
  6. Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to various situations.
  7. Willingness to travel for client meetings and participate in trade shows as required.
