Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs, enabling the formulation of personalized treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to provide effective counseling services to individuals and their families, adapting your approach to meet diverse needs.
• Work collaboratively with a network of professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to deliver an integrated and holistic approach to client care.
• Respond to crises with sensitivity and expertise, offering immediate support to clients in acute distress to help stabilize their situations.
• Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives, promoting mental health awareness and advocating for the reduction of stigma around mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor with Greene Health, you will serve a dynamic population with varying backgrounds and experiences. Your clients may come from different ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, each with unique mental health challenges. Engaging with this diverse clientele will enhance your clinical skills and cultural competence, enabling you to provide the highest standard of care.

Qualifications

• An active, independent license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for establishing rapport with clients and fostering therapeutic relationships.
• A high degree of cultural sensitivity to effectively treat clients from varied backgrounds, enhancing their overall experience within our care.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills for diligent documentation and adherence to treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in teletherapy or remote counseling settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client information efficiently and accurately.
• Background in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.

Compensation and Benefits
