What You Will Be Doing
You will serve as a core structural contributor to the daily setup, mechanical installation, and physical completion of our solar arrays:
- Site Infrastructure Logistics: Efficiently load, unload, distribute, and transport high-value components, structural racking materials, and tools across expansive job sites.
- Mechanical Field Installation: Assist installation crews by setting mechanical racking arrays, aligning mounting brackets, and securing solar photovoltaic (PV) modules under direct supervision.
- Site and Subgrade Engineering: Prepare active job sites by organizing staging yards, verifying tool inventory levels, clearing localized debris, and setting up staging lines.
- Material Handling Layouts: Perform foundational layout tasks, configure structural components, and systematically manage material flow to ensure continuous field assembly workflows.
- Rigorous Risk Mitigation: Maintain a perfectly clean, safe, and highly organized work environment, adhering strictly to OSHA standards and localized Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) safety guidelines.
- Operational Adaptability: Take real-time structural direction from Site Foremen and Assistant Foremen, swiftly adapting to changing field conditions to hit target build milestones.
What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)
- Trade Foundation: Prior construction, civil earthworks, warehouse logistics, or general physical labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: High physical fitness with the capacity to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs continuously while working on your feet in diverse, variable outdoor weather conditions.
- Tool Fluency: Comfortable safely operating basic mechanical hand tools, measuring instruments, and low-voltage cordless power tools.
- Professional Character: Outstanding punctuality, a strong team-focused work ethic, and an active willingness to learn complex mechanical installation techniques.
- Safety Credentialing: Possession of an active OSHA 10 Construction Certification is highly preferred, or a full willingness to earn one through company-paid training channels.
