We are seeking an experienced Gift Shop Salesperson with a proven track record in retail product sales. As a key member of a small team, you will provide exceptional customer service, manage sales transactions, and ensure the shop is well-organized and appealing to customers. This role offers regular training and opportunities for advancement, working primarily with mobile POS devices and standard cash registers during weekend and daytime shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and inquiries
• Conduct sales transactions accurately using POS systems
• Merchandise products to maintain an attractive sales floor
• Handle cash and process payments securely
• Replenish stock and organize displays
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop
• Develop and maintain product knowledge to assist customers
• Provide excellent customer service and support teamwork efforts

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in retail sales
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills
• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems
