About the Organization

At Greatmind Seattle Therapy, we pride ourselves on being a leading private outpatient mental health practice. Our organization is dedicated to enhancing the lives of adults, children, and families through comprehensive mental health services. With a commitment to delivering care in the least restrictive environment, we offer a full spectrum of therapeutic, psychopharmacological, clinical research, and counseling services tailored to meet the needs of an outpatient population.

Work Environment

Our remote work setting provides flexibility allowing counselors to maintain a healthy work-life balance while focusing on their clinical responsibilities. We are uniquely integrated with Comprehensive Psychiatric Care, enabling collaborative efforts to enhance our service offerings and ensure optimal care quality for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients, fostering rapport and professional relationships while adhering to ethical standards and boundaries.
  • Conduct regular sessions with clients to evaluate their progress, stability, and to prepare for discharge when appropriate.
  • Design, implement, and regularly review person-centered treatment plans to align with each client’s evolving needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date and thorough documentation and progress notes for all clients, adhering to best practices in record-keeping.
  • Perform intake assessments to establish initial treatment needs and goals for potential clients.
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions weekly, employing evidence-based techniques and methodologies.
  • Engage in individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and provide mutual support within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, continuously seeking opportunities for professional advancement and improved client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base includes a varied demographic encompassing adults, children, and families who face a range of mental health challenges. By providing compassionate, individualized care, we aim to create a supportive environment that promotes healing and fosters resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling.
  • An active and unrestricted LPC license.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical outpatient setting post-graduation.
  • Proficient in using digital tools, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and Pimsy, for documentation and scheduling.
  • Demonstrated experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
  • Ability to conduct intake assessments comfortably and effectively.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in specific therapeutic modalities that align with our clinic’s mission, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or trauma-informed care. Additional expertise in working with diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our fee-for-service model guarantees that rates are paid ahead of collections, eliminating waiting periods for reimbursement. In addition, clinicians may qualify for bonus opportunities based on performance, and enjoy W2 employment status that prioritizes work-life balance and job satisfaction. Benefits include:

  • Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance with supplemental options.
  • A robust 401(k) retirement plan with company contributions.
  • Provided malpractice insurance to ensure peace of mind while practicing.
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for personal support.
  • Opportunities for professional development, including free CEUs on a variety of mental health topics.
