Job Description

Perform comprehensive dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures.
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as permitted by state regulations.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and vital signs.
Take and develop high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays).
Apply fluoride treatments, dental sealants, and other preventive agents.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-operative instructions.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient charts and electronic records.
Collaborate effectively with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Adhere strictly to all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
Assist with patient scheduling and maintain efficient workflow within the operatory.

Salary Range

Full-time $40 - $45 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Monday through Thursday.
Daily Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Days Off: Enjoy a consistent 3-day weekend every week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

Requirements
  • Basic life support
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Infection Control License
  • Licensed dental hygienist

Current and valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Illinois.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Proficiency in performing all aspects of dental hygiene, including scaling, root planing, and preventive procedures.
Demonstrated ability to take and interpret dental radiographs.
Strong knowledge of infection control, sterilization procedures, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, HIPAA).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
Familiarity with dental charting software and electronic health records.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to our core values.
