Job description

Property Manager – Cleveland Area
GLR Companies, Inc. | Property Management

Great Lakes Realty (GLR Companies) is a full-service property management firm serving the Cleveland/Northeast Ohio area, managing multifamily communities, commercial properties, and community associations. We're always looking to connect with experienced, people-first Property Managers to join our growing team — even if we don't have an immediate opening, we'd love to have your resume on file for upcoming opportunities.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned property or portfolio, ensuring a well-maintained, safe, and welcoming community for residents/tenants
  • Manage leasing activities, renewals, and resident/tenant relations
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors to address service requests and capital projects
  • Manage property budgets, rent collection, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and company policies
  • Conduct property inspections and support marketing/occupancy goals

What We're Looking For

  • Prior property management experience (multifamily preferred)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of fair housing regulations
  • Proficiency with property management software (we use ADP/industry-standard platforms)
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and genuine care for the communities you manage

Why GLR

  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Health insurance reimbursement, dental & vision coverage, employer-paid life insurance
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Supportive, close-knit team culture with real opportunity for growth

About GLR Companies
GLR Companies, Inc. is a full-service, third-party property management firm headquartered in Northeast Ohio. We manage multifamily communities of every type, including conventional, HUD/Section 8, and LIHTC, along with commercial properties and community associations, and we take on court-appointed receivership assignments that demand real operational discipline. We are active operators, not absentee managers. Our leadership walks properties, knows the work, and holds itself to the same standards we ask of our teams. We are growing, and we are building the team that grows with us.

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply — we review resumes on an ongoing basis and will reach out when a role matching your background and location becomes available.

Location: Cleveland, OH area (specific site assigned based on opening)
Job Type: Full-Time
