Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with chronic pain. This involves gathering comprehensive medical histories, performing physical assessments, and utilizing diagnostic tools to determine pain levels and conditions.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaboratively develop customized pain management plans tailored to each patient’s needs. This may include medication management strategies, recommendations for physical therapy, and interventional procedures tailored to alleviate pain.
  • Patient Education: Empower patients by educating them on their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies. Provide materials and resources to help them understand their treatment journey better.
  • Procedural Assistance: Aid physicians in executing pain management procedures, including but not limited to epidural injections, nerve blocks, and joint injections, always prioritizing patient comfort and safety during these procedures.
  • Follow-up Care: Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, addressing concerns, providing counsel, and ensuring continuity of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is patients struggling with chronic pain—from post-surgical recovery issues to conditions like fibromyalgia and arthritis. The ideal candidate will display empathy and understanding while optimizing treatment plans that resonate personally with our patients, allowing them to engage actively in their recovery process.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant in Massachusetts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with patients and working collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A commitment to exceptional patient care and a passion for pain management.
Preferred Experience
  • Certification in Pain Management or a related specialty is highly desirable.
  • Prior clinical experience in pain management or a related healthcare field is a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience with pain management technologies and treatment innovations.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to USD 160,000 annually.
