Now hiring part-time assistant teachers. Assistant teachers are responsible for assisting the classroom lead teacher with general supervision and management. They must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, and be able to relate well with children. Our infant room assistant teachers specifically take care of the all the daily needs of our youngest learners; feed, rock, change, interact/play. Older classrooms offer time for structured small groups and supervised uninterrupted free play with lots of teachable moment opportunities. Part-time positions are flexible and great for students!

• Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the Lead Teacher
• Supervisor activities and ensure safety
• Provide input for bi-annual assessment of children's development
• Maintain daily open communication with families
• Help children establish good habits of personal hygiene; change diapers and assist with toilet training
• Help to maintain a neat and organized classroom
