Massage Therapist – Grand Galvez Resort & Spa

Position Summary

Grand Galvez Resort & Spa is seeking a licensed, professional, and guest-focused Massage Therapist to provide exceptional spa experiences in a luxury resort setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about wellness, delivers outstanding customer service, and is committed to creating a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for every guest.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage therapy services, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal (if certified), Hot Stone, and other specialty treatments.

• Consult with guests to determine their individual needs and recommend appropriate treatments.

• Maintain accurate treatment records and uphold guest confidentiality.

• Prepare treatment rooms before and after each service, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.

• Promote spa services, retail products, and wellness programs.

• Ensure all equipment, linens, and supplies are properly maintained.

• Adhere to all state licensing requirements, resort policies, and health and safety regulations.

• Provide exceptional hospitality and personalized service to create memorable guest experiences.

• Work collaboratively with the spa team and other resort departments.

• Attend required meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Massage Therapist License in good standing.

• Previous experience in a resort, hotel, or luxury spa preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding massage treatments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of multiple massage modalities.

• Experience with spa booking software.

• Retail sales experience.

• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
