Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer role located in Meadville, PA. The CNC Programmer will create, review, and optimize CNC programs for milling and machining operations, ensuring parts are produced to specification and within required tolerances. Daily responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, selecting tools and machining strategies, setting up programs on CNC equipment, and troubleshooting issues that arise during production. The role involves collaborating with machinists and engineers to improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and maintain consistent quality. The CNC Programmer will also help maintain documentation, follow safety and quality procedures, and support continuous process improvements on the shop floor.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in CNC Programming and Programming for machining applications.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Machining and Milling for operating and optimizing CNC equipment.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Technical Drawing for interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and part specifications.
  • Relevant experience with CNC machine controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, or similar) and CAM software is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality are beneficial.
  • A technical diploma, apprenticeship, or degree in machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Experience in a production machining environment and familiarity with lean or continuous improvement practices is beneficial.
