Located in the Downtown Disney District, The Carnaby blends the sophistication of fine dining with the vibrancy of London's famed Carnaby Street - where refined service, culinary excellence, and electric atmosphere come together. Guests will enjoy Chef Ramsay's iconic dishes - from his legendary beef Wellington to signature fish and chips - in a stylish space designed to captivate families, tourists, and locals alike.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Fine Dining Server plays a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional guest experience through attentive service, deep menu knowledge, and polished hospitality. This position is responsible for providing refined, personalized, and intuitive service in a high-end dining environment, ensuring every guest receives a memorable and elevated experience. The ideal candidate is gracious, detail-oriented, professional, and passionate about culinary and beverage excellence. You'll:
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
• Provide impeccable, attentive, and courteous service to all guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.
• Anticipate guest needs with refined attention to detail, maintaining a gracious, guest-focused demeanor at all times.
• Deliver seamless table service, including menu presentation, timing of courses, wine service, clearing, and resetting.
• Uphold fine dining standards including proper service sequences, etiquette, and table maintenance.
• Ensure all guests feel genuinely cared for, delivering an experience that exceeds expectations and encourages repeat visits.
Menu, Wine & Beverage Knowledge
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the full menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, potential allergens, and culinary techniques.
• Provide confident and informed recommendations based on guest preferences and occasion.
• Understand wine pairings, specialty cocktails, and non-alcoholic offerings, including proper serving temperatures, glassware, and presentation.
• Communicate effectively with the culinary and beverage teams regarding special requests, modifications, or dietary needs.
Fine Dining Operations
• Execute all side work and opening/closing duties with precision, ensuring the dining room is fully prepared for service.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the dining room, polishing glassware, silverware, and service tools as needed.
• Manage multiple tables with grace and efficiency during high-volume or high-profile services.
• Follow all procedures for handling payments, checks, split bills, and POS operations with accuracy and professionalism.
• Support teammates by running food, restocking stations, and assisting wherever needed to maintain service flow.
• Communicate guest feedback and concerns promptly to management to ensure issues are resolved swiftly and appropriately.
• Follow all health, sanitation, and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with local laws and company standards.
• Maintain responsible alcohol service practices in accordance with state and company guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to fine dining cleanliness standards throughout service.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 2+ years of fine dining or upscale restaurant experience required.
• Deep knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service; formal wine education a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a polished, professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm during high-pressure services.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with guests.
• Commitment to providing warm, refined service with genuine hospitality.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience managing service in a family-friendly yet elevated environment preferred
