  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring that each client receives the most effective care available.
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare specialists, including psychiatrists or medical doctors, when additional treatment is required.
  • Document all client interactions and treatment details accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

Our client base encompasses various demographics, enabling you to broaden your experience and develop culturally responsive therapeutic practices. We place a strong emphasis on building rapport with clients and creating an environment where they feel safe to share their experiences and challenges.

Qualifications

  • A valid and current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New York.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
  • Solid knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Experience delivering culturally competent therapy, emphasizing inclusivity and understanding of diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated crisis intervention skills, with an ability to effectively support clients in high-stress situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with patients.
  • Experience with EHR systems and computer applications to document patient care efficiently and effectively.
