Position Overview

GoodLife Mental Health Center is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough temperament counseling sessions with parents, guiding them through challenges and promoting effective parenting strategies.
  • Perform comprehensive developmental evaluations of children, assessing their needs and formulating actionable treatment plans.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all services provided, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead engaging parent support groups to create a therapeutic environment for sharing experiences, challenges, and strategies for effective parenting.
  • Develop and deliver training programs aimed at equipping parents with the necessary skills to support children with mental health needs.
  • Address complex issues related to parenting, particularly focusing on families with children who have been prenatally exposed to substances.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, including children and their families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Our center focuses on culturally responsive care and aims to uplift those from various backgrounds, ensuring that all clients receive equitable access to services.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting, with at least one year specifically in a mental health environment.
  • An active and unrestricted Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) is essential for this position.
  • Knowledge and background in parent-child intervention strategies are highly preferred.
  • A strong understanding of normal child development, as well as issues related to parenting and child abuse/neglect, is critical.
  • Proven clinical work experience in social services or healthcare settings, such as case management or direct social work, is required.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience facilitating support groups or educational workshops is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in counseling and mental health treatment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient use of telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems to manage patient information and documentation.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
