Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Office Administrator with experience in recruiting and human resources to support daily business operations and employee management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and capable of handling administrative responsibilities while assisting with hiring, onboarding, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

Office Administration

• Manage day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks
• Maintain organized records, files, and office documentation
• Coordinate meetings, schedules, and company communications
• Order office supplies and oversee general office maintenance
• Assist leadership with operational and administrative support

Recruiting & Human Resources

• Post job openings across hiring platforms and social media
• Screen resumes and coordinate interviews with candidates
• Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation
• Support employee engagement and internal communication initiatives
• Help ensure company compliance with HR policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in office administration, recruiting, or human resources preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in Google Workspace, and hiring platforms
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Has a CPA
• Has experience with multifamily portfolios
• Has experience with acquisitions and financing
• Can oversee multiple LLCs/entities
• Has experience with Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, or similar real estate accounting systems

Preferred Skills

• Experience scheduling interviews and managing recruitment pipelines
• Familiarity with onboarding processes and employee documentation
• Social media and communication skills are a plus
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time in-person in Newark, NJ
• Compensation based on experience
